We are a family-run, small-time, small-town honey operation located in beautiful Paris, ON. We provide gorgeous, pure, raw, local honey while doing our part to save the bees. What started as curiosity and concern for the bees quickly became a passion! I set up a hive on our porch while I was on maternity leave. My dad was thrilled - his dad had kept bees and he saw it as something we could do together. He said it was a legacy of sorts. So we embarked, together, on our adventures in apiculture, learning as we went along. As more and more people knocked on my door for honey, we expanded. We now have dozens of hives, spread out over several bee yards in Brant County. Families have welcomed our bees into their yards and become part of our beekeeping story. We recently lost my sweet dad to cancer, but the work continues - a legacy indeed. These sweet endeavours are, as always, dedicated to him. Thank you for helping us help the bees, and for joining us on the journey! We hope you enjoy these gifts from the bees.

Our honey is pure, local, raw wildflower honey. Our bees find their nectar and pollen along the banks of the Grand River, north and south of Paris, and amongst the apple orchards outside of St George. We use only 'soft', organic treatments, when necessary to keep our bees healthy. Our honey is not pasteurized and is only filtered once, to maintain the added benefits of pollen. Quality honey is more likely to crystallize, but will return to its clear liquid state if you just warm the jar in a bowl of hot water.

If you've never had small-batch, local honey you are in for a treat! Like wine, honey takes on the flavours of its surroundings. Large operations mix all their honey together, while we are able to process our honey separately to maintain the integrity of the flavours that are unique to each yard. There is something really special about the flavours you can find in a jar of local honey. You will never go back to grocery store-pasteurized-stored in plastic-possibly corn syrup from China-honey again!!!

Honey makes the perfect hostess gift or stocking stuffer. It's a treat for that person who has everything and an absolute delight for the foodies in your life. We have limited quantities available this year, due to the miserable weather this summer. The price this year will be $7 per jar and we anticipate selling out early. If you hope to have some for Christmas, please see me sooner rather than later!!!

Our other offerings include our soothing balm which has met with rave reviews, particularly from those who suffer with eczema; beeswax candles; all-natural artisan soap whipped up in my kitchen; and our amazing new beeswax food wraps to replace the plastic wrap in your kitchen. This Christmas, our soothing balm gift pack, with body balm and lip balm, is $15. The spiral pillar candles are $20 each. My artisan soap is $3 per bar. And our beeswax food wraps, which come in several different gorgeous fabrics, are a huge hit this Christmas! They are $20 per package of 4 wraps. We are happy to do packages of 2 wraps for $10, if that works better for you!
